Vision
The School of Education through its meta programme “Education for Sustainable Development of Human Experience” (ESD-HE) aims at developing new educational environments that stimulate the raising of the individual awareness of inner developmental processes (cognitive, emotional, bio-energetic, physiological).
Objectives
- Our short-term objective is to develop a national and international network of scientists, educators and policymakers that can promote the ACM Living Systems Organization & Communication perspective and practical approaches based on same to support Whole Teacher preparation. We wish to accomplish this through the organization of (mini) conferences, lectures, workshops, professional training, (Post) Graduate programmes, research and institutional development.
- Our long-term objective is to stimulate the development of an educational system that prepares professionals to assist learners in shifting their perspective towards the Whole Person. The Whole Person perspective cultivates an understanding of the fundamental nature of experience and of the nature and proper diagnostic method of simultaneously observing experience in the spiritual-, mental-, emotional- and physical domains. It develops awareness and interconnectedness in amongst other things outlook, perspective, communication, behavior, lifestyle, social participation and health. Our learners study how a person’s outlook, perspective, etcetera are simultaneously influenced by inner developmental processes.
Programmes
The following programmes will continually be developed:
- Individualized Research Educational Master's programmes;
- Professional education;
- Research programmes (literary, exploratory, constructive and evidence based);
- Institutional development (assist other organizations in developing programmes based on ESD-HE).
